Photography competition at DTU Civil Engineering – win the best illustration award
Participate in Photography Competition 2018. DTU Civil Engineering hosts this new event, and the theme for the competition is civil engineering.

Submit the best illustration of a subject within civil engineering 
Participate in the competition by submitting an illustration, which illustrates a subject related to activities at DTU Civil Engineering – e.g. test, calculations, buildings, active students or others - in short all topics relevant for civil engineering.

You can submit pictures, illustrations and collages. The only requirements for the material are that it must be digital, it must not exceed one page and you have to attach a short technical/academic description of your illustration (200 words maximum length). Please note that the description is included in the overall evaluation. Furthermore, to participate it is required that you are studying at DTU.

A panel of university instructors, researchers and communication officers will pick out the winner. The prize will be awarded at the beginning of the autumn semester 2018.

The 1st prize is DKK 3000. Please, be aware that the winner has the obligation to report the prize money to the Danish Customs and Tax Administration.  

How to participate
Photographs or other types of illustrations must be submitted by e-mail to Deadline for submission is on 31 August. Please notice that you have to use your DTU student e-mail account and only one attachment is allowed per submission. There is, however, no limitations for how many illustrations you can submit.
You can also participate as a part of a group. Please, state the name of the contact person and all group members in the e-mail, when you submit a group entry.

Rights and usage
Please be aware that you turn over the rights to the material to DTU Civil Engineering by participating in the competition. If the material is part of a project or similar, you have to state the name of the project responsible (e.g. supervisor) and add him/her at cc in the submission e-mail.
