CITIES workshop: Integration of prosumer buildings in energy systems

Denmark aims to achieve 100% renewable energy generation by 2050. While wind energy generation accounts for 40% of electricity supply, solar energy does not play the same role as wind energy.

What is the current policy on solar energy?

What will the future be?

Are decentralized and building integrated solar energy systems better suit to the Danish situation than large-scale solar farms?

What are the challenges for the integration of prosumers into energy systems?

Could heat pumps be a solution to the challenge of having prosumers in the integrated energy system?

...

We would like to create a platform to discuss such issues.
