Department of Civil Engineering - DTU Byg, manages the education of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (3.5 years), Master of Science in Engineering (5 years), and superimposed courses (2 years).

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
This education provides an academic education which allows students to aquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. At this department, three different educations are offered:
- Arctic Technology
- Civil Engineering
- Architectural Engineering
Master of Science in Engineering
This education provides the student with professional skills and is flexible with choice of courses. The programme is divided into two parts. The first part (Bachelor) takes 3 years, while the second part (degree course) takes 2 years. The Department of Civil Engineering - DTU Byg offers education in
DTU Civil Engineering also offers a masterdegree in Architectural Engineering based on DTU's bachelor in Architectural Engineering
Superimposed courses
If you already have a Bachelor and still feel like studying, you have the option to further your education by taking 2 years of superimposed courses. Completions of these courses will then provide you with a Master of Science in Engineering.
